We are proud to introduce two of the children supported by Children of Uganda's programs. Both of these children represent what distinguishes the extraordinary children in Uganda. They have experienced the worst event a child can suffer - the loss of their parents. However, talk to these or any of the children in our program, and they will tell you a story of hope.

They will tell you that they are among the privileged orphans in Uganda - 2.4 million children have lost their parents to AIDS, extreme poverty and civil conflict- because they are being educated and empowered to think optimistically about their future.
